Chapter 07, JAMPROOF at WHITE Milano

In September 2025, JAMPROOF presented Chapter 07 「Chants of the Sirens」at WHITE Milano during Milan Fashion Week. Over four days, the collection was encountered by buyers and industry professionals from different regions, moving through the space slowly, often returning for a second look.

Chapter 07 began with the Siren.

Once described as winged beings, Sirens were later rewritten into creatures of danger. Their wings disappeared, their bodies were reshaped, and their voices were no longer heard as language but as warning. What resisted understanding was gradually framed as threat.

JAMPROOF does not approach the Siren as an image, but as a condition. Not something to be looked at, but something that speaks back. Beauty here is not ornamental. Sensuality is not surface. They operate as forms of knowledge, carried through the body and activated through movement.

The materials respond quietly. Plant dyed silks in low saturation pink tones shift with light, unstable and reflective, like water in the early hours of morning. Cuts recall scales without becoming literal. Triangular lines interrupt softness. Fins and tails appear only in fragments, in hems, linings, and collars, embedded rather than announced.

At WHITE Milano, the collection was experienced over time. Details surfaced through closeness rather than display. What remained was an attention to material, to construction, and to the space between structure and fluidity.
